Modern Judaism doesn't do that. There may be some misinformed crazy people out there believing in stuff like alchemy and magical spells. That doesn't necessarily represent Judaism; it just represents sectarian thinking.
However, if you want alchemy and magical spells, then ask about a religion that uses "special" water, tells its followers to pray to dead people; holds relics and icons up as representations of God and prays to those too, and then uses special incantations, sort of like prayers, plus tells you to confess in a small box to someone on the other side of a screen.
Now that could also be considered alchemy and magical spells too. That is if you look at it objectively.
