Default What is the Bible, the Torah and the Zohar and which should I read first?

I want to read the Bible, the Torah and the Zohar but I don't know which to read first. So which order should I go? Or should I read one while I read another as well? Thanks.

The Torah is the first five books of the Bible, mostly dealing with the law of the Old Testament. The Bible is the rest of it. The Old and New Testament. I recommend you reading the Gospels, the first four books of the New Testament, then the rest of the New Testament, and then finish with the Old Testament.

I think you should leave the Zohar alone, because the Bible is the Word of God. For proof please read below:

The Judo-Christian God of the Bible is the One and True God because He is the only God that has with stood the test of time, science, history, and prophecies of the Bible. This can be seen through the Dead Sea Scrolls that were written over 2000 years ago; proving that it with stood the test of time because it matches up word-for-word of the Hebrew Bible today. Verses such as Leviticus 17:14 stating ?For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever Eadith it shall be cut off.? and Isaiah 40:22 stating ?It is he that sitter upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcher out the heavens as a curtain, and spreader them out as a tent to dwell in:?. These verses in the Bible are pr oven to be scientifically true thousands of years after they were written! The Israelites being enslaved to the Egyptians 3000 years ago and the Israelites spending 40 years in the desert is historically accurate proving that the Bible stands the test of history. And the test of prophecy is being fulfilled right now by the world leaders discussing and making plans how on they, the leaders of the world, are able to unite the world through a global government and economy. This is written in the Bible in verse of Revelation 13:7 ?And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kind reds, and tongues, and nations.? and in Revelation 13:16-17 ?And he causer all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.?.

They will each help you to understand the other. I would start with the Zohar. You might also want to read the Talmud and Kabbalah as they all stem from each other as well.

Don't waste your brain cells. I would suggest reading some Bertrand Russell, heavy reading.

Read the Bible first, in its entirety. The Torah is simply the first five books of the bible. Concentrate on the Torah, it is the foundation from which everything comes. The Zohar is garbage, it is a man made book of crazy myths and thoughts that have nothing whatsoever to do with the bible. It is not inspired in any way.

The Torah is NOT the first five books of the Christian old testament.

The Torah is the first five books of the Jewish Tanakh, the Jewish bible.

The old testament is NOT the same as the Torah, there are over 3000 changes made in the Christian old testament from what the Jewish Torah has.

If you are interested in Judaism, then read the Torah. If you are interested in Christianity, then read the Christian old testament.

If you want to know the deepest meanings of the Jewish Torah, you will find many of them in the Zohar, however, this is not a beginner read. A good place to start would be a set of books called "The Midrash Says", instead.

You should also have a Jewish Tanakh at the same time to follow along in.

A good Jewish Tanach is the Artscroll Stone Edition Tanach, you can go to your library and if they dint have it they can do an inter library loan and get it for you. They can do the same with "The Midrash Says" set.

In the meantime, you should go here and have a look at your own special Covenant given to you as a Gentile in the Torah, right alongside the Covenant given to the Jews. This is the path you're to be following, according to the Torah:

What do you mean the Bible Old testament?? If you are Jewish do not read the old testament it is a sin... but first the Torah then learn some Misha or Meara or Shylockian Arch before you start the hoar it is a very complicated thing...
The 2 main people that learned it the right way the ARi"zeal and the Ram"chalk both died at age 39 because of the level of spirituality they reached so be careful with the hoar...
