Default Is it against the Jewish faith for a Christian to go into a Synagogue?

I was just wondering the strict policies of the Jewish faith because I know that "Jews" or Israelites cannot go into a non-Jewish church, so I was wondering if the opposite could occur.

it's against any faith to be part of another faith.

religions are very intolerant of each other because they fight over who's god is better

Nope- I have been a welcome guest many times in synagogues and encouraged to participate - and even was told if we do anything you think you should not - then don't.

It's unlikely,. but I dint know about any of the extremist sects

in the UK, a place cannot be used for marriage ceremonies unless it is open to any member of the public... since synagogues are used for marriage ceremonies in the UK, they MUST - by law - be able to admit anyone of any faith

If they give you any trouble, remind them of Ex 12:48/ God commanding the Jews to allow the stranger to join them in the salvation of God

No, it is not. And at least in Conservative or Reform/Reconstructionists, there is no rule against going to a church (in Judaism, they are not called churches; they are called synagogues) as long as you don't seriously take part in any of the rituals. Not all Jews have a strict policies: The Orthodox Jews rules are more strict than the Conservative and Reform/Reconstructionist branches are...there are differences between them.

I went to the home of an atheist woman. She offered me some sour cream raisin pie. I knew that she had actually torn the wings off flies and baked them in the pie. Then she claimed they were raisins.

I threw her entire pie into the garbage and ran away.

No, synagogues and Judaism are, in general, very open to outsiders...which makes all those claims of Jewish secrecy and conspiracy all the more ridiculous.

Jews welcome one and all into our synagogues, although seating is limited during Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.

Btw, Israelite has been replaced by the word Jew which is perfectly acceptable. I'm sorry you feel uncomfortable using it.
