Why is Israel Targeting Mosques? Will Arab Extremists Use That to Justify Attacks on

Will it lead to a wider religious war?
What is the evidence that they were using the mosques as weapon storage areas. Israel claimed that it's merely attacking "symbols of Hamas' power."

Perhaps this wouldn't be a problem if the militants weren't hiding out in mosques.

When terrorists use mosques to store weapons, they become legitimate targets for destruction.

Why are 'they' IN the mosques then???

I used to live in Israel. The Muslim terrorists targeted EVERYTHING, from synagogues, to children's schools, to restaurants, to buses.

Israelis are targeting wherever weapons are stored. They have the best intelligence agency in the world.

of course...that has been the way for 2k years, why stop now? what has changed?

I have an additional question...why don't they attack Saudi Arabia, where the capital of the Muslim world (Mecca) exists?

If I wanted to attack militant Evangelicals I wouldn't target a Natural History museum, I'd target a church.

If Israel targets a mosque it is because they have reliable intelligence that it is being used as a weapons cache or a staging ground for terrorists. The Palestinian terrorists have a history of hiding in mosques, among women and children, because they think they're safe there. They have no regard whatsoever for the women and children.

Israel keeps saying that they are hiding in mosques and behind children and women.

But obviously, Israel still bombs the mosques, and kills women and children, so those obviously aren't good hiding places. If I was a Palestinians, I would avoid hiding in mosques because those seem to be Israel's targets.

Israel has been doing this for years. Hamas doesn't hide their stuff in mosques, or use women and children as human shields, because Israel has proved over and over again that they have no remorse in bombing and killing whatever they want.

The real reason they are doing it is to break the Palestinians, and make them feel like they have no safe place to go. make them feel like their God won't protect them.

Also, because Israel is evil and believes Palestinians lives are worthless, while Israeli lives are worth destroying so much.

Mosques are being used to house weapons and terrorists.
Terrorists have no conscience and have repeatedly murdered innocent Israeli's in the streets of Israel including in synagogues.
Israel is not the cause of the current violence and has the right to protect itself from the idiots in Gaza who keep shooting rockets and sending suicide bombers into Israel.

Just like when you said why are Israeli planes bombing hospitals ans schools last time Israel struck back. it was because Hamas put their missile launchers in schools and hospitals. Hamas are cowards, hiding behind children and old women. Just like their prophet did 1600 years ago. OH, AND THE ARABS ARE ALREADY TARGETING SYNAGOGUES, THEY JUST HAVE LOUSY AIM

The initial small explosion is the missile hit, the massive explosion that followed it is the stockpile of rockets it explodes.

There are secondary explosions in the mosques that prove it. Israel keeps careful records of proof so that she doesn't get sued in court. It's not a question mark. You can see the secondary explosion at the end of this video:

Israel isn't' attacking symbols. They are eliminating the weapons stored to kill Israelis. It has NOTHING to do with hitting religious symbols -- buying into that is buying into WHY Hamas stores stuff in civilian locations...so that it looks "bad" when Israel defends herself.

You mean the ones with explosives in the storage areas?

The real question is why Hamas was using mosques as warehouses in the first place.

1) Lots of people in and out, very convenient to distribute supplies without raising suspicions.

2) If they're discovered and blown up, Hamas can put the footage on Al Jazera and everyone will moan that Israel is targeting mosques.
