Its only a manner of perspective. The Free masons believed in a free society. Jewish synagogues are devoted to god.. The images may look similar to you, but there is not any connection between the two.
It is possible that some Jewish Synagogues where built by Free masons, and the hid masonic messages in the construction of these.

Either way, a synagogue is just a building, any building, where Jews congregate for worship. There are no specific design features for it. It may look like a church, or may be just room in someones house. They are meeting places, not holy places.

Wow, what a skewed view of synagogues you have. They look like all sorts of things. Mine gr owning up had a stain glass front in octagons or hexagons, most clear, some with colors & a curved extension to look different than a plain building.

The one I grew up in looked like a house. A big, gracious house. (the synagogue). The one across town looked like Mount Sinai. Another looks like a mosque. The ones in Denver, where I live now, same.

All synagogues are different.
