Default I have the Satanic Bible, Dianetics, The Book of Mormon, The Qu'ran, The Bible, The T

...and a bottle of Jack on my nightstand, which is going to show me the truth?
The Tao of Who?
The How of Pooh?

Next you'll be going on about "The Day of Piglet" and the "Eternal Sorrow and Suffering of Eeyore"
Yes, Piglet.

For better than impulsive Tigger...
Or gloomy Eeyore...
Or intellectual Owl...
Or even love able Pooh...

Piglet demonstrates a very important principle of Taoism, the Te...meaning Virtue-of the small!
Jack makes a great barbecue sauce. Just say in'.
Is it ironic that I just killed a mosquito with the Te of Piglet?
A sex salad? Does it have marshmallows and Jell-O?
I'm down with the Jell-O wrestling, but I've got enough marshmallows to share.
Exhausting philosophical discussion always makes me drink. :-)
(((Sassy)))
@ Xanzibar: That would have been funnier if it said "space monkey".
@ Trish: How does drunk = full of hatred? That makes no sense.

A bottle of Jack....and maybe a copy of The Tao of Pooh.

Of Pooh!!

Or you could just try some sec ks. I hear it's rather enlightening.

Of all the things I could go on about, you want to talk about Piglet.....Srsly?

I liked Piglet better than Pooh, but don't know how well it'd go with that bottle of Jack.

If you're cooking, I'll bring the .......the salad*?

*almost went for sec ks, but felt kind of bad for subjecting you to it.

Poor mosquito. *is sad*

I've got plenty of jello, but not a lot of marshmallows. Hmmm. Oh, I've got it!! Maybe we could both get in the jello and then wrestle for the marshmallows!

......you already drank the Jack, didn't you?

Everything makes me *drink*........Hugs?

(((*Joe*))) *gropes* All I really need is coffee in the morning. Don't bother cooking I don't like to eat until I've had at least two cigarettes.....

Honestly speaking, the satanic bible is the most modern book you have there, id read that one.

It makes the most sense, has no irrational nonsense in it, and contains a great basis for morality.
It teaches non-violence, no animal sacrifice ( unlike the bible and Qumran).

Enjoy!

first, i would like to say you are an impressive stacker to fit all that on one night stand. I would go with the jack, just cause I'm guessing its on top of all everything else. unless your REALLY good at stacking, and its like in the middle. Still though, Jack.

The Bible is the root of the Book of Mormon, the Quran, and the Talmud. So I would start with that.

I frankly don't know what is in Dianetics but I don't think it is considered a religious book. Isn't it only a self halo book with a very limited scope. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

As for the Satantic Bible, this was written as an opposition to Christianity. It therefore is reactionary and has no universal truth.

James M:
Dianetics is the philosophy behind Scientology which is a recognized religion, so yes, it would be classified as religion. In addition, the question asked which would show the truth. Perhaps the truth would be found in a self help book rather than a religion.

There is truth in almost all those books, but you won't find any being drunk. The basic message of prophets is to trust in God, and keep his commandments. If you do, you will be blessed and know that the commandment is truly of God.

I don't think you are really trying to find any "truth." If you found "truth," could you face it, could you live it, or would you turn a blind eye to it? You're just being silly.

Truth is provided by the Holy Ghost which does not dwell with someone who is inebriated or full of hatred. Sorry, you will receive no Truth tonight.
