Is it morally justifiable to close a Synagogue because of Gaza?
Serious answers only please. I understand that some people are boycotting Israeli products, but a Jewish Synagogue is a place of worship.
Do you think this is going too far? Why or why not?
-------
Indonesia - Councillors in Indonesia's second largest city Surabaya are seeking the closure of what is believed to be the only synagogue in the city to protest against Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip, a council member today.
Protestors on Wednesday symbolically sealed the the Beth Hashem synagogue in Surabaya, East Java during a protest against Israel's strikes on Gaza that by Friday had killed 776 Palestinians and injured more than 3,000 people.
"We are asking the city administration to close the synagogue and verify the presence of the Jewish community here," said Ahmad Suyanto, a member of the Surabaya City Council.
He said Judaism was not one of six religions recognized in Indonesia - Islam, Protestantism, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Confucianism.

I do my homework quite well Sig: First of all you are implying that this is justifiable, and you fail to realize that it opens doors that would lead towards these actions being pulled out on other religions.
Secondly: Are you implying that Jewish people haven't been harassed?
Third: Firing rockets into another country and then crying foul is a major contradiction. The UN has never supported Israel in anything either (hence the BIASED media).
Did they cover the 123 Israeli kids that have died because of these attacks? Did they cover the guy who killed 12 kids this year alone at a Jewish school in Israel?
I think you are the one that needs to check your facts.
Statistically: Judaism has the highest %'s when it comes to people enacting hate crimes (that's right Judaism is at 18% in comparison to Islam which is 11%).
I think you need to do your homework better: This is about being able to practice religion freely. You missed the point. You are confusing Israel with Judaism.
