Not sure where you get that idea from. Aged 12, Jesus was found in the temple discussing theology with the teachers, and he astonished them with his understanding (Luke 2:41-50). He told his parents that he had to be in his Father's house - the temple in Jerusalem.
Turned 30 years of age, "He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read..." (Luke 4:16) "Then he went down to Capernaum, a town in Galilee, and on the Sabbath began to teach the people. In the synagogue was a man possessed by a demon..." and Jesus cast the demon out, right there within the synagogue, for the account concludes, "Jesus left the synagogue..." (Luke 4:31-38). Later, "On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching the one of the synagogues and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years..." (Luke 13:10) Later still, "One Sabbath, when Jesus went to eat in the house of a prominent Pharisee, he was being carefully watched" (Luke 14:1) You can bet your bottom dollar that Jesus had been in the synagogue prior to being invited to eat with the Pharisee.
Towards the end of his ministry, Jesus "entered the temple area and began driving out those who were selling... Every day he was teaching at the temple... One day as he was teaching the people in the temple courts and preaching the gospel..." (Luke 19:45-20:1) So although Jesus went about the towns and villages teaching, he also taught in the synagogues and in the temple.
