Default do you agree: when there is a church, a synagogue & a buddhist temple in Mecca, THEN

has become a tolerant peaceful faith? and that the only reason preventing that from happening is for Muslims generally to be holding on to & reinforcing intolerant beliefs about the impure unclean guffaw, leading to the intolerance and Islamic supremacist that sustains their exclusion from mecca
if the intolerant elements in the Koran were truly repugnant to the vast majority of Muslims, then there would be no reason not to initiate a reformation.
the trouble is, the Koran in its literal reading, allows for acts of violence by individuals against e.g. apostates, such that a Muslim who wants to question change and reform things is very susceptible to censure and religious vigilantism from his fellow Muslims, who dint like what he's saying.

if ever there was a situation for a truly spiritual jihad, it surely would be to remove from the faith any and all elements of compulsion, and instill acceptance and respect for other faiths.
i think such an effort is the only way to go, for Muslims who have become aware of, and are no longer in denial about, where the intolerance and supremacism emanates from, if they want to regain a wholesome pride about their faith.
who knows...?--once cleansed of its negative elements, such a tranquil and austere faith may overturn its negative public image in the west, and come to be seen as just as viable an option, as all other faiths.

No, I don't care what they do in Mecca.

I care what we do in the United States. Saudi Arabia is an intolerant country, I don't want the US to emulate them.

It cannot happen until Qurran is changed & that's impossible

Mohammad was a warrior who went into more than 50 wars and executed many Jews, Christians & non-believers including his own relatives. His warriors were cannibals who ate bodies of their enemies. Its true.

Islam is like a black hole it will not stop until it destroyed everything then it will destroy itself like an ammo dump

I think it would be nice, but will never happen.
They will always be the way they are now.
Muslims teach their children intolerance.
Like racism and other intolerant ideals, it is passed on to future generations.

The problem lies with the fact that Muslims are just not sufficiently motivated or organized to be proactive about any of these issues. They may org anise the odd discussion or public statement but that is all.

The vast majority (who are not extreme or actually support violence) would rather just pray about it and hope it will go away by itself. Either that or they just abandon Islam completely.

When we, as the human race, have peace in our hearts as the human race, and we do not kill, we will have peace and peace will be exquisite and lasting...the former things fall away, and humans forget about wars and gods and money... Do you foresee this happening any time soon?
"Once cleansed"...???.. = equals.. the ms is fighting words, by the sounds of it?
Shall we cleanse the Pope too? and how about we clean up those god lovers mate, they could do with a real good spit and polish.
Viable?... You are talking about a way of life, also, not just going to Sunday school?

Islam is the religion of all the prophets and the house in markka was build by the father of all the prophets of our era. Those Christians who know the truth know that this worship place is for all the believers so the House in Makka is their church, synagogue, temple and worship place for all mankind.
You need to go back to the bible and to the books you have to know all about this house in which every messenger of our era ( Abraham, Moses, Jesus and between them Suleiman, David and all the prophets Pepin them) did pray in this house and did the pilgrimage in it exactly like we do. ask your clergy to tell you the truth. Had they admitted the truth they would tell you that the Lord's religion is only one religion and that is Islam
