Someone try to answer this.
All three of Abrahamic Religions spawned off from the old testament.
All these three religions are different because of different interpretation of the old testament.
So who is right? As a a practitioner of Judaism/cathloic/muslim, how do you know that your religion is indeed correct and that other interpretations of the Old testament is false?
So no practitioner Judaism, Cathloic and Muslim are 100% sure that their religion is correct.
Origins of all three of these religions are the same and they all pray to the same god and kill millions over little details. dumb.
answer: correction - Jews don't have an Old Testament.
We have the original, the Jewish Tanakh.
That is correct for us. That is what is important for us. We do get annoyed when Muslims claim that the Tanakh (especially the Torah) was changed without any evidence to back that up and when Christians claim we can't interpret our sacred text correctly.
Here's my own solution, none of the above are right. But don't listen to anyone about religion and follow your own beliefs, because not every religion fills the needs of every individual.
As long as man interprets gods wishes, non will be "correct". Each has pieces that represent gifts god has given us, but non are completely compliant with gods will. I have studied many religions and have not found one yet that includes an honoring, non judge mental, understanding of what it means to love your fellow man.
BTW you should include Mormons in the list. Each of these religions claim to have a profit sent them by god giving them the keys to his king dome on earth.
Religion is what individuals get caught up on, and not what is important. Spirituality is truth. A person knows whether they have a connection with a higher being or not. IF THERE WAS ONE RIGHT RELIGION, THEN THERE WOULD ONLY BE ONE RELIGION. Our ancestors where taught stories, passed by word of mouth, for years before writing capabilities came about. Religious leaders should work together to understand that their individual creeds, and beliefs, should not separate humanity, but be used to inspire and collectively help our world. I know my God has no hate, but ultimately has allowed evil to triumph on our earth, to give each soul a chance to live. I would never proclaim to know the absolute truth, but I know my truth, and nothing has ever proved me otherwise. This would never, however, hinder my interaction with a person of another faith, or one lack there of. I can't describe myself as any of the mentioned religions, but my faith is based upon the Old Testament. Religion is man-made, spirituality comes from above.
Spoken like a true individual who is ignorant of religion.
Islamic perspective is that they are all right since they are all religions from God
Just like you had people that killed in the name of religion, you had people that killed that are atheists
Blame the people for perverting religion to their own needs, not the religion
