Default John Galliano was fired for making anti-Jewish remarks?

Has anyone ever been fired for making anti-Catholic remarks?

He was for for antisemitic (racism towards Jews, deeper than mere bigotry) remarks, he was glad for the Holocaust. I am sure people have been fired for bigoted statements against other religions. There was a lot of discrimination against Irish-Catholics in 19 Th century and early 20 Th century America (bigoted signs saying no Irish need Apply in centers of employment), Jews are not alone in religious discrimination.

Define an anti-Jewish remark, please. I've no idea what he said, but anti-Jewish remarks are stupid. He is probably a stupid person, but I have no idea who he is or was. Why go out of your way to mess with a group of people. And people get fired for all sorts of reasons. The reason they don't get fired for anti-Catholic remarks, is that the vast majority of Catholics are anti-Catholic. Just ask one. All they do is complain about the Catholic Church. Most Jews are glad to be Jewish or at least neutral about it. They make fun of themselves, but still don't act like they are about to revolt against it, like Catholics do.

Anyone making anti-religion remarks or an anti remark in general for that matter should be questioned and then fired.

It?s illegal to make anti-Semite remarks in France. I don?t believe any country has the same laws regarding catholics.

he was a designer for a world wide clothing manufacturer, if he was not fired the company would have lost millions .
we catholics are taught to carry a cross every now and again, so it may hurt , but time is a great healer , and so is forgiving
