Default What are the best things to remember to add to an essay about Christianity and Judais

The essay is due in a couple of weeks, I need a few sources. Your ideas may help also. Are they tolerable or intolerable of each other?

Thanks in advance!

actually Christianity and Judaism are both tolerable and intolerable of each other when it comes to beliefs

Christians believe in the old testament which is based on the Tora scrolls

the only real difference is Christians say the messiah came and went in the new testament where Jews don't think it happened

How about that Christianity is a sect of Judaism because Christ was a Jewish rabbi who was teaching his interpretation of Judaism?

You can't talk about Christianity without writing about the wars that have been found in the name of it. I suggest you include information about the Crusades which includes all eight major crusades. Don't fore get to mention the Alexandrian and Aragonese Crusades.

And you definitely can't write about Judaism without writing about the holocaust and the many other horrific events in Jewish history.

Christianity was formed as a reform of Judaism, the similarities, in practice, The bible (old Hebrew Bible) for Chritians and the new testament, and for Jewish people, it would be the Tanakh.
Also you can discuss Kosher, which specifically has to do with the plight of the Jewish people fleeing Egypt in history.
You can talk about the persecution of both Jews and Christians in the time of the empires. etc

I learned the other day that the Christians, the Jews, and the Muslims, all believe that the other two believe in the same God. They call it different things, but its accepted that it is the same entity. Whereas, Buddhists and Hindus and others have different (wrong) gods. I thought that was fascinating....
