I don't care for it. As long as they don't call themselves Christians I'm good, because we have a lot of differences.

Hopefully the fact that I am Mormon doesn't exclude me from answering this question!

I believe that it is a wonderful religion, teaching its followers how to become more like Christ, to become more Christian.

We believe in God, the Eternal Father and in His Son, Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost.

We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience and allow ALL men the same privilege, let them worship how where or what they may.

Well I am Mormon.

I think its a Christian religion.

Also if you are Mormon that's cool.
If you aren't Mormon well that's cool too.

It doesn't matter what religion you are people are going to point out the errors of that particular religion.

My opinion is that it has made me who I am, and I think I am a pretty good person. I might not be smart, witty or beautiful, but I am compassionate and I care about people very much.

This is because "Mormomism" taught me that I am a child of Heavenly Father--as we all are children of God--and that we have a place in His kingdom.

If that makes me a bad person in your book--whatever.

I am very proud to belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As for my testimony I believe everything the church stands for, and everything I have volunteered to do has enriched my life ten fold. For the service of others is where you will feel the spirit. Mormon is an ancient prophet that The Book of Mormon gets it name. There is no such thing as Mormonism==Just The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know the church is true-I believe in the Prophets past and present. I wouldn't change my life for anything in the world. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ -Amen.

I'm so glad I was born into a family that is LDS. I can't imagine struggling to find the truth as many do. Oh, that I might help shorten the journey for some!

My opinion, this religion is far more than a tradition in my family that I carry on. Oh no, it is no tradition for me! It is a way of life, and it is entwined in my entire life. It is something that must, I repeat, must be discovered for yourself, but when you do...the joy, the peace, the comfort, the strength and courage, the hope that can flood your life is more precious than any other thing, because it is truly the love of God that you feel as you come to the fountain and drink the living waters!

I am going to tell you from the beginning that I am going to be completely honest with you and I will not tell you what you want to hear.

I am a New Evangelical Christian and I am completely against Mormonism. During my period of doubt in my religion I did quite a lot of research on Mormonism. I?vie talked to several Mormons, read the book of Mormon and have read various books and historical texts about Mormonism.

After doing my research on Mormonism I have come to a conclusion that Mormonism is false. A lot of the book of Mormon has changed over the last 20 years and if you look up old editions of the book of Mormon you will agree. I don?t like the way the LDS church represents themselves. The book of Mormon also contradicts itself.

I am an Independent woman and I believe in having rights and I feel that men and women are equal, different yes, but equal. The Mormon religion often shows that men are dominate and in a nutshell the purpose of women is to please the man and make many
Mormon babies so there is room in the ?sprite world?.

Another aspect to the Mormon religion is that none of Joseph Smith?s journal entries are historically accurate. The bible on the other hand is. Almost all historians will agree that Jesus Christ did exist, but not all of them believe that Jesus Christ?s Miracles actually happened.

I know that Mormons believe in Jesus, but I also know that they think Jesus, God, and holy sprite are separate beings. I completely disagree with this belief. Jesus, the holy sprite and God are all the same thing. I like to think of it as water, it comes in many different forms but in the end it is all one thing. God is neither man nor women, God in human form (Jesus) came to earth as a man because during that time period Women had no rights. During Jesus? time on earth he empowered women. (Look in the new testament of the Bible)

What I don?t understand about Mormons is, How can you guys believe that ONE man who claims to have spoken to ?Jesus and God? and was told by ?Jesus and God? that the bible was wrong. How can you believe that Jesus was not God but a prophet? How can you not look at the Historical aspect of all of this?

I am going to Challenge you to read the bible ask questions not just to Mormons but to Atheists?, Catholics, and Prodoest?s, ASK QUESTIONS. Pray to god ask him to show you the truth.

I am praying for you.
