LDS, Do you agree with this allegation of Joseph smith practicing the occult?

this is a follow up question based on an interview with Phillip CarrGomm about Joseph smith using a seer stone.

Lack of understanding in regards to the scriptures. Read the books of Samuel and you'll find that David often used a Ephod to consult the Lord. The Ephod often contained a breast plate with stones one of them considered a Uri and Thurman

1 Samuel 23: 9 -11
9 ? And David knew that Saul secretly practiced mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring hither the aphid.
10 Then said David, O LORD God of Israel, thy servant hath certainly heard that Saul seeker to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.
11 Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as thy servant hath heard? O LORD God of Israel, I beseech thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.

Interesting what methods are used to contact God in the scriptures. People really need to read their scriptures a lot more to realize that their is a tradition of using a seer stone to consult God through.

Did he practice to deceive people by dishonoring GOD by using JESUS CHRIST as a get rich scheme?


Which by all accounts, he did and his followers still use the image of CHRIST for material gain.
