Default Do Mormons realize that they have been duped and scammed by Joseph Smith?

Christopher K: I know you won't budge because you are scared and prideful. good luck.

No, only ex-Mormons believe that. Why don't you worry about your own religions BS and let the Mormons worry about theirs.

Im not sure what you think Joe Smith was trying to accomplish. Duped and scammed to do what?

And if you re gonna say "tithing", OK, to what end? What is the Mormon church doing with all this tithing money?

Regardless of what you attempt to point out, it all ends when you realize the Mormon church does nothing even remotely questionable.

First I like the picture of yours......

Second, I do not feel that I have been deceived. You can think what you want, bring out all of the so called evidence that you want, I wont budge

No, I am not going to budge, because it is what I believe, I have been a member of another church, didn't like it. They could not answer the questions that I had for them. I don't need anybody to tell me what to believe and what not to.

Now that we have gotten past that fact, people have accused Joseph Smith of being a fraud throughout his years as a prophet. There have been many false accusations made against him saying that he was a liar, a con man... you name it. Now if you really think that he was coming up with this huge scam, give me a reason why... then also give me your proof that he really was a con man.

Nope, they walk along happily with their eyes squeezed shut and their hands over their ears. It is a common trait among "believers"

Do you realize you've been duped and scammed by a minor deity who simply wished to gather more followers for his own selfish reasons?

*Shrugs*

And that's only IF he exists.

(Can't say I take sides. I suppose I just piss everybody off)

I am married to an ex Mormon, and everyone in his family but two of his sisters (He's the second oldest of 10 kids.) is still being duped by it, so I'd say that by and large, most of them don't. And even if they do, it's just easier for them to pretend that Mormonism is right than to make the radical change that admitting to themselves that it's wrong brings.

Wow. One point left.

Troll.

We are well aware that his name would be widely known for both good and evil. Thanks for fulfilling prophecy.

I love the way he calls the main angel in his mythology, 'Moroni.' It's like he's goofing on all the morons who are stupid enough to believe in his 'religion.'

If they realized that, they probably wouldn't be Mormons anymore, now would they?

no more than any other christian sect understands they're believing in ghosts and goblins.

most Xians don't even understand Jews, Xians, and Muslims ALL worship the same deity.

That is like me saying: Do you realize you are doing the devil's work by saying mean and spiteful things about my church?

Hate is not of God, that only leaves one other person that it comes from.

How noble of you to inform us.

Only problem with your gracious enlightening for me is that one witness I have is from God, making your puny words rather pointless.

Being "duped" is a relative term. How does the pro claimer of others being so duped know for certain that they are not the "duped" themselves?

I have an answer that all Mormons know about. Its call the Holy Ghost. When one receives a witness from the Holy Ghost, one most assuredly knows that they are not being "duped."

That's how feel about all the Protestants religions. Since they were all founded by some guy. My church was founded by Jesus Christ Himself. Just look back into history.

slamming a true / false religion are you.

if i could share with you all the spiritual experiences Ive had, i think i could fill a volume of reference books. probably 5 to 10 books on religion.

when i see the church without occult or without witch crafts or without secret combinations. i know the church is true. that Joseph smith Jr was not a conman.
i dint believe i was conned in any way or duped.

however, that's not to say there are not wolves in sheep's clothing and false teachers in every single religion and church and synagogue on the face of hate planet. i truly think your own church has its own liars and deceivers in it.
