Mormonism is not Christian, DOCTRINALLY. Mormonism is a cult that rejects the free gift of salvation in Jesus, so Mormonism leads to eternal torment in the lake of fire. Mormonism also rejects the TRUTH that JESUS IS GOD, so Mormonism has a different and fake "god" that cannot save, and a different and fake "Jesus" that is not the TRUE JESUS. Mormonism is idolatry.
And also the truth is that only the BIBLE is the Word of God. The "book of Mormon" is not from God.
The TRUE JESUS loves Mormon people so very much, and wants them ALL saved! So Mormon people need to get away from Mormonism, and instead, believe in the TRUE JESUS for His free gift of salvation! Getting into heaven is truly only by believing in Jesus for His free gift of salvation, without adding ANY of your own works.
JESUS TRULY paid for all our sins with His death on the cross! And then Jesus rose from the dead! Nothing else pays for any of your sins, not works, not good deeds, nothing.
So believe in Jesus for His free gift of salvation RIGHT NOW!
The truth is that JESUS is God, and Jesus loves you so very much! And the Trinity is true!
The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to hell, is by believing in JESUS for His free gift of eternal life in heaven, believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died on the cross for all our sins as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe in Jesus for His free gift of salvation, and you will be in heaven, no matter what!
Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in JESUS for His free gift of salvation! It is impossible to lose or "leave" salvation (John 6:39-40, John 10:28, 1 John 5:13).
Please pray now: "Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross to pay for my sins and that You rose from the dead, and I thank You for eternal life!" You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die!

One reason that there are many acceptable Christian denominations is that they cleave to different interpretations on difficult verses of scripture - but a cult adds some strange beliefs that are obviously not taken from the Bible, which is the book of Christianity but with special emphasis on the New Testament (Covenant)

b) The Americas were colonized by a lost tribe of Israel, when genetic and archaeological evidence proves otherwise.
c) God was once actually a man, who magically became god, so then we can all magically become gods too!

d) when we die, we get to be gods over other planets, and raise "spirit children" but ONLY if we've married and had children in this life because THAT is what is most important to their god.

Christians believe that if you accept Jesus's sacrifice for your sins, and love God, and love one another, then you get to spend eternity in heaven with the God that created you.
If I had to choose one or the other, I'd pick real Christianity....especially if I was a woman. I don't really understand how women can be Mormons unless they've been brainwashed since birth.
Well, there's the doctrine of exalted man -- That the God Almighty of the Bible was once a man, and that men (only through Mormonism, naturally) can become exalted to Godhood.
Then, there is the conversion of the dead -- Mormon's are master genealogists, but this is not primarily out of an interest in history at all, one of the required works of membership that Mormon's must perform is to trace
their ancestors as far back as is humanly possible --
living Mormons serve as proxies for the dead ancestors (and much of the the rest of the population of the planet as well, including you, me, and all of us here) and are baptized in proxy for the dead at the Temple in Salt Lake, believing that their dead ancestors are able to accept these vicarious baptisms and membership into the Mormon church. Occult spirit ism is practiced to "raise" each these dead ancestors, contact them and "encourage" them to accept and effect their conversion to Mormonism in the spirit world. Apparently, each successful conversion of a dead ancestor serves to progress the living Mormon's exaltation toward Godhood -- somehow....
What I can't quite grasp is how the "now converted" dead ancestor effects their own exaltation to Godhood -- without all the Mormon works and without the church's help.
Maybe it's like a pyramid scheme? The more converted ancestors below you the better the dead --- live?
