Default Who else is sick and tired of seeing "I am a Mormon" commercials?

You take the most interesting humans and promote a religion. What if someone do the same with criminals in that religion?

I don't have any problems with the religions, only when it rubs on my face.
If you want to improve the public image, can't it be done from the behavior within than brainwashing?

"I am a Mormon, and these are my 300 wives!"

Probably not what the commercial says ...

Emotional appeals are what religions excel in though. You can't expect any of them to actually provide reason or evidence in support.

I'm totally against the organized religions. I do however care less what they do as long as they do not effect me. Is that really possible?

I wonder what their reaction would be if it was a "I am a Wiccan" commercial? Food for thought....

It's a PR campaign. Some people, when they hear the word "Mormon", immediately think negative thoughts about things they may not know for themselves but have heard of. We are trying to improve our public image and put down false ideas about us.

Lol brainwashing, it's a commercial. Anyone who ever wants to improve their public image uses public advertisements.

Mark 16:15 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." We are doing this very thing using all the tools at our disposal.

They are working really hard to erase the bad taste left over from their gay hate, and they want people to think Mitt Romney is a nice guy as well.

The ads are only targeted for certain cities on TV/radio, so many haven't seen the blitz yet.

You can flip the T.V. dial and watch diet soda pop ads, or weight loss infomercials, or better yet...
diaper rash ointment television advertisements.

Personally I would prefer to see something that is biographical, and informative like the LDS commercials.

Blah, blah blah blah... and I am Catholic. Yeah, I could handle that, and I would prefer to watch that, rather than another Valtrex herpes medication commercial, definitely.

I'm a Mormon, what do I need to watch a stupid Valtrex commercial for the 100Th time for?

Truth be told the LDS commercials are some of the best commercials around.

Then again, they are commercials. Me. I tend to avoid commercials like the plague. So on one level, I get what you are saying.

But that is just the nature of sponsored television. Just one of those things.
