Ever here of the willow creek massacre

Protestants belief?s are anti-Biblical and Satanic.

Their churches did?t start until 1500? years after Christ
They express their imbecility with poorly trained Protestant Ministers making their own top ten list for salvation .And Preach the Gospel according to themselves. Which is fraudulent theology and errant preaching which becomes inane protestant rants and not scripture.. Which crafts their own versions of Faith.
They are just charlatans plain and simple

Sola Scriptura cant be found in the bible. No Christian or Jew ever practiced it or dreamy it up.
Once saved always saved cant be found in the Bible. No Christian or Jew ever practiced it or dreamy it up.
They commandeered the word Christian coined by a Catholic in the Books of Acts to Describe catholic belief. Then say Catholics arena?t Christian and stole their word to describe their satanic beliefs.
They Deleted Inspired books from the Bible and believe a Council of Jews Had the authority to set the Cannon of the Christian Bible. The Jews at the Council removed ever vestige of Christian teaching at the time to put down the Christian Faith . Which include most of the prophesy of the Messiah Jesus contained in these books the first Christians were using. They even named a Jewish Messiah at this counsel Jamima.
They Changed the Listing and wording of the Ten Commandments written in the Bible.
They Believe the Bible to be the Inspired word of God . It says that no place in Scripture It is a catholic Teaching not a Jewish or protestant teaching.
They believe the Old Testament to be inspired It says that no place in Scripture.
They believe a few Lines of scripture Is all that you need to be saved in spite of numerous verses to the contrary.
They only believe in a few lines of scripture not the whole of the bible.
Their churches were all formed by the Opinion of one Man.
None of their churches teach the same doctrine or dogma.
They have Homo Pastors and priest?s
They have women Pastors and Priests
They have same sex marriages in their churches.
Some believe in Baptism some don?t contrary to Christ?s commands.
Their worship is nothing like the first Christian?s worship of God and Christ.
They believe you can sin as much as you like and be saved.
They preach a prosperity gospel and steal from their flock.
They sell trinkets to get your prayers answered.
They sell water to heal you.
They come up with strange practices like soaking ,Side hugs, words of wisdom, On demand prophesying ,
Being pregnant with a miracle, Prayer towers, Altars to wave their hands over prayer requests, Untold heresy?s to get your money and get you on a mailing list..
Some require you to speak in tongues to prove your filled with the Holy Spirit and are a Christian.
Some give you a test before they will baptize you.
None preach the whole of the Gospel and teach bigotry and hate in their churches their service consists of a homily on one line of scripture. With a whole lot of trash spoken and self interpretation
They have no idea who coined the word Bible and will only give you their definition of it.
They have no Bishops as defined in the Bible or church hierarchy.
Most don?t have any requirements to become a pastor.
Their worship service is for entertainment and not worship.
They constantly lie about other faiths even though they are proved wrong, they worship a Unity of Hate instead of Love.

All false doctrine leads to destruction and is therefore harmful. This includes those that follow the lies of Joseph Smith. So, no, Mormonism is not harmless.

I believe many of their doctrines are dangerous, and I am going to research their official website, and compare it with scripture. Whatever disagrees with the word I will mark, after it has been compared to the bible.

Define harmless. Other than the loss of discretionary income, privacy and free time, my family hasn't suffered at all.

The Mormon church evolves with time, and so, what is deemed harmless today may be just what you'd need tomorrow. They teach you to obey government, yet admire the founding fathers. If this doesn't confuse you, nothing will.

They once taught that the name of the restored church was "The Church of Christ." Then God revealed it to be a different name. This proves that God is as confused as we are.

God told Joseph Smith to have many wives, in order to reap the highest Kingdom. When Uncle Sam got disgusted with this, God again changed his mind.

When God said, "Live the United Order." They did. But then the church lost interest in that lofty Utopian principle.

Lately God has revealed that merchandising is cool, and vanity and profits are most important, so City Creek Mall is being built.

God will again change His mind, and we'll stay tuned for the new revelations, quietly.

Image is all that matters now, and the Mormon church is masterful at that, so expect God to choose to dance with her, long into the night.

There's no more carefully tweaked and Prue-packaged organization on earth than the LDS church.

Please call the missionaries, join and then you'll know what God wants for you, too! (Hurry, offer may change without notice. Void where prohibited.)

Mormonism is not Christian. Mormonism is a cult that denies the free gift of salvation in Jesus, so Mormonism leads to eternal torment in hell. Mormonism also rejects the TRUTH that JESUS IS GOD, so Mormonism has a different and fake "god" that cannot save. Mormonism is idolatry.

So get away from Mormonism, and instead, believe in JESUS ALONE for salvation! Getting into heaven is truly only by believing in Jesus, without adding ANY of your own works.

And, Jesus DID pay for ALL our sins with His death on the cross! And then Jesus rose from the dead! NOTHING ELSE pays for ANY of your sins, not works, not good deeds, nothing.

So believe in Jesus for salvation RIGHT NOW!

Jesus is God, and Jesus loves you so very much!

The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell, is by believing in Jesus for salvation, believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died on the cross for all our sins as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe in Jesus alone for salvation, and you will be in heaven, no matter what!

Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in Jesus alone to save you! It is impossible to lose or "leave" salvation (John 6:39-40, John 10:28, 1 John 5:13).

Please pray now: "Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross to pay for my sins and that You rose from the dead, and I thank You for eternal life!" You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die!

I don't believe you could qualify most religions as "harmless"... not even Atheism. To me personally, it isn't what one believes so much, as how one practices those beliefs... how one goes about sharing their beliefs... how one regards others who do not necessarily share their beliefs. Frankly if most of us were to really study and understand the fundamental, foundational principles of our "beliefs", I daresay that most of us would drastically change our outlooks and our actions and the world would be a much safer place where we wouldn't worry whether or not other religious beliefs were harmful.

Harmless? They are one of the largest humanitarian organizations in the world.

If you don't know what they teach, then it is a little hard to judge them. From many of the answers, there are many who know almost nothing about the teachings of the religion, but depend upon its enemies for their knowledge and judge accordingly.

Personally, when judgment rolls around and an accounting is called for, I wouldn't want to be in the place of those who claim the religion is harmful...

I strongly recommend people start finding out what the LDS church actually teaches by using the links I've provided. And if you've heard something weird, and it isn't covered in the "official" links, then search the apologist site.

Judge not, lest you yourselves be so likewise Judged for the measure that you use will be measured to you is The Message of The Gospel. For did not the woman at the well belong to a Celtic belief and yet invited the whole town that she lived in when He met with her?

A good tree does good in bearing good things for other peoples to partake in. For in whatsoever one does one does for God. Where can one go and escape The Spirit of God who is poured out upon all flesh as the Pentecost and Joel teaches us regarding the worship of God neither on this church grounds, nor on that church grounds?

No church is harmless. There is always some risk. LDS can cause psychological dependence. People feel like they need LDS to be happy. It also affects how you see the world which can be good or bad. People have done things they regret under the influence of LDS's teachings such as marrying too young or getting married to too many people. But most of the time LDS does not cause these things to happen. In any case be sure to try LDS only with close friends you can trust to protect you from hurting yourself if you have a bad LDS experience.

My church (the LDS Church) does not seek to harm anyone and in fact is a great force for good in the world. The LDS Church's teachings result in people who are generally honest, hardworking, sincere, faithful, good citizens in the community, loving, etc. etc. The LDS Church teachings result in families who are generally happier than the average family and with less problems. The LDS Church is often the first organization on the ground with relief supplies when there are natural disasters.

Based on your user name, you are obviously looking for someone to attack my church. Sorry I couldn't comply.

we're not hurting anyone. we're not doing anything to make the world a worse place than it is. that doesn't mean that the church cannot defend itself when faced with problems.
