Well if they considered him a Prophet, they too would be LDS. Other denominations loathe and despise Joseph Smith because he posed the greatest threat to their religion, and therefore, cannot afford to give him any kind of credibility and MUST demonize him each chance they get.

However, Joseph was warned by the Angel Moroni that he would be spoken of in terms of good and evil.

You misspelled 'profit-seeker'.

Boy genius, he was...he knew early in life that churches raked in a lot of cash and were accountable to almost no one.

He was not a prophet. He was just a man who wrote a book on how he thought religion should be using the Old Testament mostly as his reference. He thought he was a prophet just as Warren Jeffries thinks he is a prophet.

No I don't.
I consider him a false prophet, one of many.

No. They are either neutral or denounce him. After all he was told his name would be known for good or evil throughout the world.

no, he cross-referenced the KJV bible with his other scriptures that had nothing to do with prophecy, modern prophets (those who have Th gift of prophecy) do not need an instrument (Urim and Thummim) to know about other people and God just gives them Th information, Joseph smith did none of theses, he looked into a hat with two stones to translate a book.
