Catholics: Do you think that Protestantism will disappear someday, or is it here to stay until the end?

Probably stick around forever, always evolving into new forms.

it'll stay. i mean i got no problem with it, every ones got there own interpretation of Christianity.

the problem is i have never been to a mass where they belittle any religion....much less Protestant. My church, if a tragedy like someone died at the First Baptist Church in my town, then we take a moment to pray for that person and the Baptist community.

I have however, been to a Protestant service where they have belittled Catholics and say it's wrong.

But I got no problem with Protestantism....all my friends are Protestant.

What makes your denomination (Catholicism) so special so you can pick on Protestantism?

Catholics have a more violent history than the Protestants did. Heard of the Crusades?

Both Catholics and Protestants tried to ban the Harry Potter books.

So don't think you're better than them.

The Christian churches will one day be reunited. Mary's Immaculate Heart will triumph over Satan. It is his destiny to lose. Obviously, we Catholics consider all the Christian denominations to be part of the Universal Church, just not yet in full communion with us.

Christ has promised us that the powers of hell WILL NOT Triumph against His Church. The evil spirits, who orchestrated the Schism, might win some battles against the Church, but they will lose the war. The forces of hell will be crushed under the heel of the Immaculate Virgin, and the Church will once again be united.

Protestantism will be around in some form until the end; but Protestantism is becoming increasingly difficult to take seriously in its present forms, as the likes of Rick Warren and Joel Osteen gain influence.
