Default Protestantism: Is it Biblical? Is it Historical?

I made a YouTube video showing my opinion on how Protestantism isn't Biblical or Historical Christianity...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lie4-yZ9j7E

Please tell me what you think about the video, and whether you think Protestantism is Biblical and/or Historical Christianity?
Watch the video... Trust me that it will inform the way you answer this question!
Wow... FINALLY someone actually watched the video!

Protestantism is biblical. "...contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints..." The largest body which claims to be Christian has deviated greatly in terms of major doctrines which were dearly held by the original apostles and their Jewish orientation of the true, omnipotent, invisible, immutable God. Questions of true repentance, born-again experience, the Holy Spirit's fruit in its followers are unanswered. Historical because even in the days of Paul, there are those who crept inside the true church bringing with them destructive teachings which were not part of what Jesus preached and taught.

Thank you for lightening the mood around here. I appreciate it.

EDIT: These answers are some of the great displays of Poe's Law on this forum. At least I think this qualifies as Poe's Law or some corollary of it.. anyway..

+God bless you

Your YouTube video did not show that Protestantism isn't Biblical or that it isn't historically Christian. As a non Catholic what I believe is historically correct and is 100 percent Bible based.

What's the deal with the music video in the middle of this video? I cut it off after that, hoping that I would get some kind of compassionate argument for Catholism, but all I got was this (dude) singing this song that wouldn't pass for danceable on American Bandstand!

sunglasses,sunfortunately, I can't watch your video =(
(dial-up connection)

The Bible does not condone the Schism. The Catholic Church is the One True Church established by Jesus Christ. Peter was the first pope, the Rock upon which Jesus' Church was built. The tradition of the papacy goes back all the way to the time of St. Peter.

Edit:
Mystic Marvin: Jesus was Christian, as He believed Jesus to be the Son of God and equal to God. The logical progression of Judaism is into Christianity: the Jews were waiting for a Savior to come, He came, some chose to believe in Him and others did not.

I watched your video. Thanks, that must have taken a lot of time. Now would you like to see the other side of the story?
I watched your video. Please watch this one.
There are actually 3 sides to every story. There is the 2 parties involved and then there is the truth. Here we have the Protestant side, the Catholic side and God's side - "the truth of God's word - the Bible".

The music is out of place, and telling Protestants that they are not biblical or historical is poor apologetics. The best way is to light a candle, not curse the darkness. I admire your zeal, Cash, but it does no good to insult Protestants beliefs that are dear to them. We know what it's like because we get it all the time, but Catholics are to hold a higher standard, and rise above the usual clatter.

I suggest you take some time on catholic answers forums and engage in dialogEUith Protestants in explaining the faith. Model your techniques after the reputable apologists like Pat Madrid or James Akin.

The Vatican statement on Religious Freedom states that truth can never be imposed, but only proposed to those who want to hear it.

As an old, conservative Lutheran, your video merely reminded me that, at my age, busting a move could dislocate a hip for me.
As for protestantism being umbilical, that is your opinion - one not supported by your video.
However, as I do consider the Catholic Church to be the "mother" church, and given that I am perfectly aware that the RC has not been guilty of the grave errors that Luther rightly accused it of for several centuries, I have little tolerance for the many Catholic bashes evident today - so I don't begrudge you your own dis coherent backlash.
