Default Where do Christians get the belief that Jesus Christ is the same as the Father Almigh

Nowhere in Roman Catholic dogma does it say that Jesus is his own Father or that the Father is his own Son. Wasn't the term hypo stasis created to prevent people from believing this? Wouldn't people using this belief say that Jesus is the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is the Father Almighty? Don't these beliefs blur such a dogma into pantheism?

Jesus said "I and My Father are one" (John 10:30).

The Catholic Church is the one who came up with the word "Trinity"

Look it up

not identical but inseparable.

John 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

Jesus is the Son, the second in the tribune God. He is the witness, He is God in the flesh, the Spirit and the Father meet in the Son. He came to show us God. and that is exactly who He is. Jesus = Jehovah saves

You have not read the Roman Catholic dogma

CCC 242 Following this apostolic tradition, the Church confessed at the first ecumenical council at Nicaea (325) that the Son is "con substantial" with the Father, that is, one only God with him.66 The second ecumenical council, held at Constantinople in 381, kept this expression in its formulation of the Nicene Creed and confessed "the only-begotten Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, light from light, true God from true God, begotten not made, con substantial with the Father".67

"Nowhere in Roman Catholic..."

Ever heard of the Niscene Creed? It's the foundation of the Church. It's the affirmation that Jesus is God. It was written in the 4Th Century, so it's been that way or a Millenium and a half.

You are making this too difficult. All this means is that we are one in the body of Christ, and we are one in the Father. Where do you take the words "In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit" come from? They are one.

No, Jesus says it in the Bible.

"I and my Father are one"

Can't get anymore basic than that.

I'm a Christian, and I don't believe Jesus is God the Father. The trinity is BS, in my opinion. Yes, Jesus did say that he and the Father are one, and Jesus said that those who have seen him have seen the Father. However, I believe that Jesus is the perfect image of God (what we are supposed to be). After all we were created in God's image. Jesus did not sin. He was perfect. Thus, he was the perfect image of God, not God the Father Himself. Jesus is our greatest role model to be more like God the Father.

No Jesus said he and the father are one.
Jesus has the same power as GOD does.
Jesus has the same glory that the father does.

Read Hebrews chapter 1
GOD is one but has three entity's.

Just as a tree is made of wood, bark, and leaves.
One tree but three items.
One GOD three entity's.
When you say GOD you are saying all three are one GOD.

In creating man GOD said let us make man in our image.
