He is not.... and he for sure is NOT the founder or "author" of the roman catholic cult either... There is only ONE Church. Composed of ALL of those who have come to God in The Way He prescribes. Those are the ones of The True Christian Faith... God has no part of any man invented "denomination" / "religion"... there is no pope in The Church... only Jesus The Christ is The Head of The Church and THE ONLY intercessor for mankind To God.

Consider this, there is a very well used trick of Satan which is` Divide and Conquer` Jesus established one church with Himself as the Head and Peter as His representative on earth and this church would never fall to the attacks of Hell upon it,oh indeed it would, and does receive the scars of battle but it has yet to be overcome.
Now what better way to undermine the church than to split it as happened during the reformation?
Protestants are not evil because they left the church, Catholics are not evil because they remain in the church, what is evil is the divisions in the church.
Now we have Christians who detest the true church or what they think is the church and Satan sits back laughing at his work.
The church cannot have two or more bodies it can only be one because Christ had one body, while we see the sorry sight of a faith divided the demonic forces are delighted.
Satan is the author of confusion and Miss-understanding, it is he who dreamy of dividing the one true church founded on Peter, and we see the result by the fact that there are approximately 30,000 denominations who it has to be truthfully acknowledged cannot even agree on doctrines themselves, Christ cannot be the author of Protestantism but the author of universal Christianity and this proceeds from His one Holy, Catholic and Apostolic church.

God never appreciated sectarianism for any of the Abrahamic Faiths, that is, Judaism, Christianity & Islam.

It is we who have cultivated confusion in the per suit of our wishful desires, egos and vested interests... most of the time non-religious!
