Protestants are traditionally not supposed to depict any of that because that's the interpretation they make on the second commandment. Of course, Protestants are probably "in the middle" on this issue, because Jews also believe this and they take this more seriously and don't allow any drawing or paintings at all. Catholics and Orthodox, however, do not believe there is anything wrong with this. Catholics do not interpret the second commandment as being a prohibition against the arts, but as a prohibition against believing the images have powers of their own, in that sense, Catholics are open to statues, paintings architecture, anything that honors God is acceptable. As such,t he Catholic church has been very instrumental in shaping Western Art.
