There is no such thing as "protestantism." The word "Protestant" is used to refer to churches that are not Roman Catholic or Orthodox; there are different Protestant churches that have a variety of beliefs and are different in organizational structure. "Evangelism" refers to efforts to convert people to Christianity or to a specific denomination.

God is real and created the universe (by whichever method). Christ and He are one with the Spirit. Christ's message of love. His death and resurrection. We are charged to live by His word.

Basically Protestants/Evagelicals don't believe in the Pope, Purgatory, confession, Immaculate Conception, praying to saints, etc.

Protestantism came from Catholicism. They kept some of the traditions from the Church, but they also invented their own interpretations of Scripture without the traditions of the Church. Now Evangelism came from Protestantism, the difference is that Evangelism is a radical extremist of Protestantism.

In Protestantism they do have religious art for instruction, they have sacraments but there are differences, belief in the Trinity, some have Saints and Angels. So there is some similarity between Catholicism and Protestantism. But they are also very different in their beliefs.
Evangelism has very little in common with Catholicism.

Sorry, just answering an answer -- I've answered this exact question twice this week.
Who's denying immaculate conception?

That is a badly worded question. There are two meanings of evangelical. (1) At the start of the Reformation, that is what the reformers called themselves. Gradually, Lutherans came to use that word as referring only to them, just as Reformed Protestants (ofter referred to as Calvinists) acquired a monopoly on "reformed".

(2) In the US, evangelicals are Protestants who do not belong to a mainline church, like Episcopal, Presbyterian, Methodist, Lutheran, etc.

In both meanings of the word, evangelism is a variety of Protestantism.

Evangelism also means "spreading the Good News". Catholics, Orthodox, and Protestants can all be evangelical in this sense.

When Jesus was crucified and then came out of the grave alive on the first day of the week. He left for Heaven to be with His Father and to minister on our behalf. The civil government was Rome at the time and a world wide power. The were the Pagans, Early Christians, and the Jews. Constantine decided to bring the people together and unite them through religion. He introduced the Christians to worship on Sunday in the Pagan temples. The sun gods were dressed as virgin Mary, baby Jesus, Peter etc. Many of the pagan holidays were made to be Christian as well as the traditions. The mother church became the Roman Catholic Church. The old catechism used to say that Saturday was the Sabbath. The church claims it's power from the fact that they were able to change the sanctity of the Sabbath to Sunday and the whole world follows after them. The Bibles were in a language the people couldn't read as well as chained in the churches. The name Protestant came from protesting against the mother church. There were small groups of people that had hidden themselves and they copied pages of the Bible in the common language and sewed them into their clothing. They would go into university towns and talk with the students and share a the few pages they brought with them. When discovered the pages and the Bibles were burned in an attempt to keep the people ignorant of it's truths. The church services were in Latin even when I was a little girl, and my friends had no idea of what was being said up front. Those were the Dark Ages and the Middle Ages. Martin Luther brought about the Great Reformation with Righteousness by Faith in Jesus instead of Righteousness by our works. The Protesters have been silent are are giving up ground in order to share common beliefs with the mother church. She never changes. Amazing Facts with Doug Batchelor has some great Bible studies that can answer a lot of questions.
