I'm yet to walk into a Protestant cathedral that takes my breath away and leaves me awestruck.
I guess a mega church would be the closest thing, but they remind me of basketball arenas, and to be honest they don't inspire me.
I can't comment on loyalty, people choose, as individuals, how faithful they are to their Faith.
Many protestant churches choose to be less majestic and more simple. But in the UK at least nearly all of the magnificent Gothic Cathedrals are Anglican, but that's only because King Henry VIII nicked all of them. High protestants are generally majestic, but many others aren't (i.e. Methodist and Baptist churches are usually quite small, without spires and don't have much internal decoration). So I would go for Catholic- or maybe High Anglican.
EDIT: Oh right royal, in that case High Anglican, because the head of the C of E is the residing monarch of the UK.
I am a Protestant Christian because I protest some of the Catholic teachings. One of them is veneration of Mary and one of them that you can PAY your way to heaven
Catholics are infamous of the corruption it held in the past which caused the formation of Protestantism. However, I do not agree with the belief that only faith will give you salvation. I believe that good acts will lead you to a higher enlightenment after death. I believe that Christians are good people but they are very narrow minded and hypocritical. They point out other people's sins when they should worry about themselves. I think religion is just a label and we should live by our own beliefs to conquer the challenges life throws at us.
After seeing how both of these factions have behaved in Ireland I find it difficult to say anything nice so I won't say anything at all. Royal or majestically? I don't think so.
Outwardly, the Catholic. But I will never go to a mortal man for forgiveness of my sins. If a man can forgive man of sin, then I would do my own forgiving. If I wrong a person, then I will ask them for there forgiveness.
