Default Does Catholicism create higher numbers of atheists than Protestantism?

Most of the atheists that I know from my high school were all raised up as catholics. Why do you think it is like this?

Not because of anything Catholicism does that Protestantism doesn't.

There are more Catholic Christians in the world than Protestant ones. Therefore, it stands to reason that more atheists would have originally hailed from Catholicism than Protestantism.

That is a secluded sample you are looking at.

In fact, Protestantism, with 33,000 different denominations, leads to more atheists. Protestants feel that since there are so many discrepancies and disagreements in their own faith, they might as well quit because it must be "fake"

Catholicism has faced no such disputes, which is why it still has the most members, and is growing at record numbers.

In my honest opinion it makes sense to me. this Catholicism is a religion of confusion, is it truly any wonder? it is very sad and unfortunate for the many that have left "God" because of this religion:-( they didn't have the fullness of God's Truth to begin with :-(

"Halting on crutches of unequal size,One leg by truth supported, one by lies
thus sidle to the goal with awkward pace, Secure of nothing, but to lose the race.

when Paul describes the last-day conditions above, he?s describing what has always been typical in the world. But here he?s saying that it will infiltrate the church. All these lawless behaviors so prevalent in the world are going to be common in the church. Christians will have all the ?form of godliness? but lack the power (2 Timothy 3:5).
The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables? (2 Timothy 4:3, 4).
?Savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also, from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves? (Acts 20:29).

"I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitter upon many waters." "And I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet co loured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet co lour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." Revelation 17:1, 3-5.
The points used in Revelation 17 to describe mother Babylon and the beast she rides clearly fit the papacy:

A. She persecuted the saints (verse 6).
B. She was dressed in purple and scarlet (verse 4). The popes often wear the royal color of purple at important functions, and red is the color of the robes of Catholic cardinals.
C. The seven heads of the beast (verse 3) upon which the woman is seated are seven mountains (verse 9). It is well known that Rome, the world headquarters of the papacy, is built upon seven hills or mountains.
D. The beast is guilty of blasphemy (verse 3), a point which also clearly fits the papacy.
E. She ruled "over the kings of the earth." Verse 18. Alexander Flick says that by the 13Th century, the pope was "at least in theory and claim ... the ruler of the whole world in temporal and spiritual affairs." 2 This point could fit no other earthly kingdom or government. The papacy is described in Revelation 17 too clearly for doubt.

Note: Many leaders of the Reformation (Huss, Wycliffe, Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, Melanchthon, Cranmer, Tyndale, Latimer, Ridley, and others) taught that the papacy is the power here involved. 3

If you were Satan himself and you only have enough demons to go around would you send them to Protestant Churches? The answer is NO. Those people are already outside the true Church. You will send all of your demons to the Catholic Churches. And make them work towards the fall of as many Catholics as they possibly can.
