Atheists: Isn't atheism a form of Protestantism since you people are always protestin
(((Aggy))) LOL @ Proddys...My mother was a Proddy and my father was a Protestant. I always thought Methodists were Proddys until I just learned they're not.
edit: I meant my mother was a Methodist
(((ShortCake))) '-)
Nah. The Proddys are only there to fight the Catholics at the Old Firm match.
(If you have trouble with this Seals will explain) :0)
(((Olga)))
EDIT: The Methodists are most certainly Protestants - in the UK anyway.
This is from the Methodist website: (as I am sure you are aware the Holy Catholic Church is NOT the Roman Catholic Church).
"The Methodist Church claims and cherishes its place in the Holy Catholic Church which is the Body of Christ. It rejoices in the inheritance of the apostolic faith and loyally accepts the fundamental principles of the historic creeds and of the Protestant Reformation.'
Methodist Deed of Union
Actually religion is a protest against the truth although you could say atheism is a protest against that which is false if you wanted to stretch things. But why would anyone protest against that which is false? Especially when the falsehoods are self evident.
As if someone formed a group to protest that the sky was blue in favor of another color. It would not make sense. It is the religious folks that are protesting in favor of tangerine skies.
One time, I had this cool friend, Hannah, who was all hippie, kind of?
She wore neat hippie clothes and people thought she was pretty progressive or something?
So to show her I was cool too, I went with her to this protest.
We maybe were protesting the way Purina makes their dog food?
I'm not sure, but it had something to do with animals.
Anyway, everyone there seemed neat like Hannah, so I was into it,
but then Hannah took her bra off from under her shirt and threw it at this police officer.
So I left, because I didn't know it was gonna be THAT kind of protest.
((((OLGA)))) Last time you forgot to hug me...so....
