IVE NEVER SAID CATHOLICS AND 7Th day dint have the truth....Trinity churches are all good...check them out
you are generalizing...there are already tons of choices.....how many have you been to?
Jesus denounced Protestantism when He plainly stated His divine will concerning His followers - "That they all may be ONE". He said the truth would set us free. Truth can exist only in unity. Conflicting beliefs necessarily mean false beliefs, because truth cannot conflict with truth. Denominational religion therefore is riddled with untruth because it is riddled with conflicting beliefs. Which is why the one true Christian Church founded by Jesus Christ for all mankind has NO denominations. Denominations would make the promise of Christ to His Church - "The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth" - impossible.
"What harm would it do, if a man told a good strong lie for the sake of the good and for the Christian church ? a lie out of necessity, a useful lie, a helpful lie, such lies would not be against God, he would accept them." - Martin Luther

"Reason should be destroyed in all Christians." -- Martin Luther
It's quite simple. Just like the fact that we all have noses and they all smell, so it is with human opinions. We all have our own and we all interpret the Bible different ways.
Peach is right. Denomination is not important. The relationship with Christ is. The church is not a building or a denomination, it is a body of believers no matter the label on the church building.
There are some churches that are unfortunately built out of bitter anger, however a lot of partings are actually quite friendly. Often when Protestants argue, it is an "agree to disagree" situation. One pastor may think new music is a great way to meet the needs of the younger crowd while the other thinks old music is just as helpful and switching to newer music will alienate other parts of the church. They agree to disagree and they can work together in the community to meet the needs of the entire culture and not just one aspect of it.
Same with different theological beliefs. Some of the community may interpret the Bible as stating that believers cannot lose their salvation while others interpret it as stating that they can. Long ago, the Christian world decided their are certain beliefs are strictly necessary for holding the name "Christian" and there are others that belong to the interpretation and conviction of the individual believer or local church.
The world is full of people with different cultures and theological leanings and the branches cater to that. Just as Christ became one of us to reach us, Christians should become one of the people in the community to reach that community.
