Default Why do many catholic women secretly like to convert protestantism?

...they fear repercussions if they do,which keeps them from converting

Oh, I totally did it. Years ago.

But then I took it a step further and became a trans-gender she male.

Maybe they're tired of being nothing but baby machines for the church.

Well; either that, or the guys have all been chased away from the church by some of the priests.

In America women are allowed to convert to any religion. The family might complain but if that stops a woman, she isn't serious anyway.

For the same reasons Protestant men secretly lust after Catholic nuns.

What is the source of your information -- especially if it is "secret?"

Conversion is a bold step (I'm a Protestant convert to Orthodoxy.) Fear of repercussions means that one is only fantasizing or doing some wishful thinking.
BIG difference between that and real contemplation!

Seem more Protestant women converting to the Catholic Church, as well as Anglican and others. Their reason is that Catholics LIVE their beliefs and relationship with GOD and Jesus. What makes you think otherwise. Women are also playing a more active role in the church, so where are the repercussions?
