Why do many catholic women secretly like to convert to protestantism?
Is it because protestantism treats women better-a fulfillment of genesis 3.!5,i shall make enmity between women and the serpent, also practices of catholics like 'intercession to saints" is idolatry according to the bible.
Speaking as a Catholic woman, I have no desire -- secret or otherwise -- to convert to Catholicism.
You seem to know very little about Catholicism. We don't have intercession TO the saints -- we have intercession OF the saints. And Jesus demonstrated the validity of this Himself at the Transfiguration. Go on, go back and read it. I'll wait. Pay attention to whom Jesus is speaking with and tell me again that it's a sin to seek help from godly people who have gone on before us.
Protestants traditionally have bee MORE oppressive of women than Catholics. In the Catholic Church, the goal is sainthood, and men and women can both get there. In some protestant churches, women are always evil because of Eve. In some protestant churches, women can only be submissive to their husbands, not equals.
Catholics do not idolize anything by God in the Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Intercession of saints is simply a way of having a hall of fame for religion. There are some great role models out there that the church holds up for people to try to emulate. I think it is a great thing. Want to get an idea how to live in humility and prayer and obedience to God? Look to the lives of the saints.
Carrying pictures of saints on a prayer card or having a St. Francis statue in your garden in not idolizing or worship ping saints. You carry a picture or many pics of your kids and wife in your wallet. You have pictures of them on your desk at home and work. You are not worship ping them. You are putting reminders of them in your personal space to help remind you of who you love and why you live life. The lives of the saints are an inspiration - not a God.
Catholic women, like my wife and other family members, are very happy in the one true church.
Do you have any documentation to prove your "secret"?
Last year there were 42,629 adult (women and men) baptisms in the Catholic Church and another 81,775 baptized adults were received into Full Communion (converted from other Christian churches). And that was only inside the United States.
Well if what you are saying is even remotely true, I would say it's more like this:
"They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you. With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed?an accursed brood!" 2 Peter 2: 13-14
Some people just want to go where their ears can be tickled.
2 Timothy 4:3
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires,
