Default What's your religion, and how do you feel about Apocatastasis? (link included)?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apokatastasis
In modern days it's heavily connected with Universalism as well as Gnosticism.
Of the first schools of Theology in Christianity, most were teaching Apocatastasis, with one teaching conditional salvation, and one teaching eternal torment. (hell)
Apocatastasis works well within Judaism, and also in many New Age religions.

Atheism (non-religion) and I don't care how well it's packaged, it's still unverifiable.

I am a christian (born again) and I don't agree w/ what they stated about Christianity and apostasies. The only way that all moral creatures (humans, angels and devils) will be living in harmony in heaven is all moral creatures (all humans and devils) accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

""""In Christianity, apostasies is the doctrine of the ultimate reconciliation of good and evil. Apocatastasis maintains that all moral creatures -- angels, humans and devils -- will eventually come to a harmony in God's kingdom. It is based on the Biblical passage in 1 Corinthians 15:28 ("When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.")"""""

If apostasies is universalism,
I understand universalism as the doctrine where everyone will go to heaven.
If it is true, there must be some other purpose for hell other than putting people there. But what would universalism's say about hell?

heaven and hell do not exist and are just metaphorical for this worldly conditions. the notion of heaven and hell comes from dualist thinking as does a soul separate from the body it is incorrect for Christians to believe in such notions as it implies one is better than the other, the Resurrection is supposed to be this worldly God created the flesh and there fore it is good, not however as many Christian's falsely believe that it is wrong or sinful. LIkely with heaven and hell why would a loving God create a hell especially if the whole religion is based on forgiveness it is more of a simple dualist interpretation of the bible one popular in America. As Jesus is quoted in Mark, God is the God of the living not the dead. Therefore any religion that subscribes to notions akin to dualism falls short of any developed theology and is likely untenable.
