I don't think we should restore humanity to a previous state. I think we should always be moving forward and progress.

No, seriously. There is no atheist restoration movement, nor is there any original "code" to try to stick to.

Not unlike science, movements change as information changes, and atheists are not a uniform group. Most of us aren't stuck in the past, or trying to restore some ancient Bronze Age dogma as the "gold standard" of atheist thought. Live and let live.

I have yet to meet an atheist who describes him/herself as a restorations.

I get the distinct feeling you are making up the term or at least marrying terms which are incompatible...
