What status i will get if i convert from indian hindu to indian roman catholic?

I am belongs to OBC community using reservation in central jobs and education,my Pasteur saying there is no problem to continue OBC reservation after conversion,Is it true ?any one can Pl guide me

Your status shouldn't change. You'll still be a sheep who believes in fairy tales.

He's lying - never forget that unlike Hindus Christians (like Muslims) are permitted or even encouraged to lie in order to gain converts. You will lose your OBC status, and rightly so. Some Christians are campaigning to permit Christians to have this status but they don't now.

My dear boy, From last 35 years i am doing service as pastor, it is simple answer for your question ,until unless you are not changed religious status in educational records you can enjoy both benefits from government( OBC) and church . NOTE:-PLEASE REMEMBER DO NOT CHANGE INDIAN HINDU STATUS IN YOUR SCHOOL AND GOVERNMENT RECORDS.

Remember one thing If you do that,you are betraying god.
