Default Catholics, should Protestants be converted back to the "one holy Roman and apostolic

I just quoted that line from the Catholic mass. (if you were wondering why the quotation marks)
Unless I heard it wrong.
Huh... I never thought that Western Catholics would be bothered by the term Roman Catholic. What about the ones that go to Roman Catholic High School, here in PA? Is "Western" okay, since one of the Pope's titles is "Western?"

"...might inspire and which could facilitate the development of the fraternal relations thus taken up between the Roman Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church of Constantinople."

That is the only way Christian unity can be restored, and the only way all Christians can know the fullness of truth.

Protestants and other non-Catholics love to push the "Roman" epithet as if they think this is actually a race war or something.

"Roman" is the protestants "Ne- giro."

edit: Please provide a link, because I don't believe you.

Only if they choose to. We view all Christians as brothers and sisters but it is up to them if they want to join Christ's church.

Whole congregations of Episcopalians have been converting and a mass conversion is expected on Lent.

What's up with adding Roman?

Edit: It usually goes "One Holy Catholic and Apostalic Church"

The name of our Church is "Catholic" which means universal. There is only one Church, I do eventually believe that the Orthodox and Protestant Christians will reunite with the Catholic Church. The Church is one body and before the return of our Lord Jesus the Church will be only one body.

Of course we want our Protestant brothers and sisters back into the Catholic Faith. But, I'd be strongly surprised that it was worded that way.

Like many of our Christian brothers and sisters, we pray for Christian unity.

I believe strongly in my Faith, if I didn't trust me, I wouldn't follow it. So, naturally I would like to see all who have a love and faith in Christ practice the Faith I truly believe is the Real Faith.

But it's not like my fellow practicing Catholics and I go around thinking we're better than other Christians. But, the majority of us believe in the Catholic Faith as being the True Faith.

P.S.: Although I was "born" Catholic and went to Catholic schools, I was never brought up going to Church except for my Sacraments and Christmas and Easter and Good Friday). When, I was a teenager I started searching for the True Faith. Thank God, that I didn't convert to another religion. At 19 or 20, I discovered that I was in the True Faith all along. That's the reason why I would hope everyone could rejoice with me in the wonders of being Catholic---in the fullness of Truth.
