Default I'm Roman Catholic... and I've had Paranormal Experiences.?

As said above, i am Roman Catholic and love Jesus with my life. I have had experiences with him and acknowledge God around me. I know he is there. But I also had a paranormal experience, seeing a ghost, and other thing. I know I'm not supposed to believe in ghosts if I'm Catholic. ...... Is anyone else in my position?
p.s.----- when i had my experiences.. they were not evil. I saw my great grandmother's face floating above a paper shredder.. and i know i saw it because my neighbor saw it too. I also have feelings of things that happen the next day (like a psychic !) . For example . one night i thought of death.. the next day i found out my grandpas sister dies the previous night.. it also happened the night of my classmates death and i didn't find out til the next day that she died the night before. my grandma and great grandmother were psychic. i shouldn't be believing in this in I'm Christian.

According to my crazy History professor, who is a devout Roman Catholic, ghosts are real and he probably wouldn't doubt you.

I am a Roman Catholic and I believe in ghosts/spirits. The Catholic Church has no stance on it at the moment

Because you are spiritually sensitive, you are open to visits from both the kingdom of light (God) and the kingdom of darkness(Satan). It's great you can perceive the difference between the two. Now all you have to do is resist those from the kingdom of darkness and they will leave. If they don't leave, don't hesitate to call on our precious Jesus to come take them away. He will!

.
I believe that you saw one of Satan's demons,

as did all of those who claim to have seen "Mary"

Satan knows that the Roman Catholic faith is wrong,

and sends these visions to keep you in the lie you are in.

Paul, writing to the Corinthians (1 Cor 12), talked about the gift of Discernment of Spirits. This is one of the spiritual gifts that can be given by God to people.

It seems you have it! There are definitely RC's that have a mystical side to them. This is not against your denomination at all. We talked about this a bit when I was in seminary (a RC one).

Some people interpret this give as being able to differentiate between what is good, and what isn't. Others hold that it is simply an ability to see spirits (ghosts). Some think it is a bit of both - which the Catholic Encyclopedia talks about in it's article on this.

Some people get kind of spooked by all this, thinking it is evil, or something like that. But, like any gift, it being good or evil is up to you. Or, it is just the way things are - don't get too fussed by it. There are a lot of people like you (I am one of them!). We just carry on in our daily lives, going to church, and being as good a Christian as we can be. And, once in a while, something happens to us that is hard to explain. No biggie.
