What is this news that the roman catholic church,is going to let their priest marry?

i think it's to late now a lot of bad things have happened along the past years!!!
N/B,I'm not misinformed,they just said that they are going to consider,the priest to marry...i heard it 10 Min's ago....on t.v news

There is no such "news," and letting them marry wouldn't solve the problem anyway.

People don't become pedophiles because they abstain from sex. If I took a vow of celibacy tomorrow, I'd still be sexually attracted to women.

I think it would be a fine idea but you are misinformed.

There is no such news.
It is theologically impossible for a single man, once he's ordained a priest, to then marry.

Having said that, it IS possible for a married man to become an ordained priest.

Irrelevant, for two reasons:

1) Priestly celibacy isn't part of the problem as abstinence from sex does NOT cause pedophilia.
2) Again, once a man is ordained a priest, he cannot then marry. It's theologically impossible and cannot change.
