Default If I claim to be a Roman Catholic, are priests and other Vatican officials?

allowed to follow me around on line to make sure I am not a heretic?

Or, would that be stalking?

Nope, not stalking. You allow it by BEING Roman Catholic.
And yes they want to weed out heretics!

Depending on the situation, of course it would be "allowed", if you're talking about Church law alone. The presbyter ate includes a teaching office, after all, and teaching involves the correction of error. That said, doing what you describe would require a special mandate from the episcopacy.

In the end, this would be a terribly inefficient way to reduce instances of heresy, and I seriously doubt it will ever be tried. Plus, it would be risky legally. I certainly wouldn't press charges (in fact, I'd be honored to be corrected by a minister of the Gospel), but a genuine heretic might. Pax!

First, you cannot claim to be Catholic; the proof is your registered baptism certificate.
Second, no clergy are going to follow you around or check what you say & do.

No.

Priests are not Vatican officials.

Priests work full time serving God's people and not following people like you around.

"Vatican Officials" are probably busy doing something official in the Vatican.

With love in Christ.

No one, including other Catholics, care about how much of a heretic you might or might not be.

I am sorry to tell you, but other people have lives and just don't care.
