Default What kind of problems could arise after marriage for a Roman Catholic girl with a CSI

The girl or girl's family may want to have her children received Baptism and First Holy Communion and go to the Roman Catholic church, where as the boy's family may want their children to be a strict CSI Protestant. Could you suggest some thing on this. How could it be solved. The marriage is not yet over, but the boys and the girls family have agreed for the marriage.

I can understand that either can fall under pressure of what either of their families want for their children, but ultimately I think it's really the choice of both parents (the boy and girl)! They should make their own choice of religion for their kids and tough if it doesn't make all the other family members happy!

There are lots of serious concerns here. Fundamental values are diametrically opposite. For an example, read up on Belfast, Northern Ireland and the massive problems they had between Catholics and Protestants.

I grew up in such a mixed household and I often said it was like growing up in little Belfast.

It might be helpful, if you're inclined, to study the Authoritarian-Utilitarian paradox in Meta-Ethics.

Not many. You both believe in Jesus as your personal savior and giver of eternal life. The Catholic Bible is a little longer, but all their extra books are in the old testament. The major difference would be Mary. Catholics pray to her, but Protestants don't.
