Most Christians that I know don't consider catholics to be christian first of all. Secondly, no Christians that I know of have any belief that the pope has the authority or god given right to declare certain people "saints". Catholics are the only biblical religion that worships saints and Mary; christian religions do not. Mary was simply the mother of Jesus, and to pray to her or "saints" for intercession or whatever with their god is just not considered appropriate or biblicalLyased by christian religions. For many people, seeing someone pray to Mary or saints is akin to idol worshiping. Excorcisms is a catholic thing too, made more popular by horror movies. The "sacraments" are much more ritual in catholicism and Episcopal churches, and Lutheran, than other religions.

The acceptance of the Communion of Saints varies greatly.

The New Testament calls Christians "saints," see Matthew 27:52. This would indicate to me that all Christian churches that take the bible literally would have saints.

The Eastern Orthodox, Anglican, and Episcopal Churches to name a few. And, of course, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I would strongly suspect the the following churches recognize the Communion of Saints:
+ All Saints Episcopal Church
+ Saint Anne's Anglican Church
+ Saint Luke Lutheran Church
+ Saint Mark Presbyterian Church
+ Saint Mary Baptist Church
+ Saint Stephen United Methodist Church
+ Saint Simons Community Church
+ Saint John Independent Church
+ Saint Andrew Christian Church - Disciples of Christ
+ Saint Johns Holiness Church
+ Saint Ann Maronite Church
+ Saint Helens Church of Christ
+ Saint John AME Church
+ Saint-Henri Seventh-day Adventist Church
+ Saint George's Church of England
+ Saint Kevork Armenian Apostolic Church of Oregon

With love in Christ.

Hi Im not Catholic, but I assume that you are. Please don't be offended by my comments. Im only trying to be friends with Catholics. And my intentions are good.
Actually Im sure you have your good points as well as bad. Well Im that way too. So we are both in the same boat. I must say I heard that Catholics promote having visions, which us Christians could learn from your example. We could be more visual, but as Christians we neglected that. So we lost out in that!!! We need to use visions more , so we wont lose out. Am I right? If Im wrong , I would like to know. Lil do I sound like Im rambling on? Im quite sure that Catholics can be very kind so that's what I feel towards you. Am I making any sense? take care.

edit: @ Jasper Ok mum Jasper, please don't be offended in what Im trying to tell you, Im only trying to help you brother. Im not trying to put you down. And I shouldn't put you down. Can I say this and you probably wont agree with me. But thats ok cs everybody is different I was brought up that we are not suspose to worship anybody else but God. Ya we are not suspose to worship Marry or other Saints because that would be making Marry and the Saints God . And the bible says there should be no other Gods besides God. Ya thats why we should not worship Mary! or other Saints! Ok like I say Im just trying to help you. But at the same time I have to admire Catholics because they allow vissions. So there you go. See we are not bad after all. We just need to find out more truth, and we can work together. What do you say? can we still be friends even if we don't agree? take care. Im just trying to help and learn myself too. take care

edit : btw I didn't give anybody a thumbs down. But if you want to give me a thumbs down, thats ok I wont think any less of you!!!
