Default Protestants what is your opinion about the Roman Catholics and the Pope?

plus what are your teachings in your group?
thanks and I a confession actually I am a catholic myself I just don't want to misjudge you, which is why I made this question
now they are only to protestants who called my group false, well guess what, you are wrong about Mary, I know that God gave life to his son but Mary is the one who provide him a human form, why not thank her for giving God's son a body to walk around the earth. anyway now I know that there are actually protestants who also respect someone different so I respect you

I'm happy that they are Christians.
The Pope is not infallible.
Thanks for asking.

well we teach that Jesus is the son of God and we think he is forever forgiving and loving and we should love him and obey his rules and pray for forgiveness. our opinion of the pope and catholics is stereotypical. some thinks priests are rapists and catholics are way to strict. my best friend is catholic so i dint thinks these things at all.

the catholics have had a lot of bad publicity lately, some of it deserved. but if you want to know who runs the best charities in the world, who arrives first and leaves last when there is a big disaster, and who you should go to if you are stranded somewhere and need a ticket home, my answer is the same---the Catholics. they do an awesome job at so many charitable things...

The Pope is an elderly, often wise, man who heads a very large church. The current pope is trying to fix some things he inherited. Some of my best friends are Roman Catholic. The differences in our beliefs are minor. I sometimes go to Catholic churches, especially for holiday services, because I like the mass. My group is charismatic and doesn't bad-mouth Catholicism.

They seem to spend more time thinking about Mary than they do The One who gave His life so they can be saved. And they seem to have a belief that it not enough to confess our sins to God,but a human being has the right to be judge and jury.Repentance can not be forced..because it does not come from the heart and is a meaningless ritual. You confess because you want too For us,we are taught that we do not need anyone to intercede for us to speak to Our Father in Heaven. We only have one earthly father (lowercase f) and One God the Father (capitol F).Our Pastors would never consider using a term used for God as their title. I do believe that you can learn from everyone, you just need to know what The Truth is.
I find it hard to picture that Jesus was born in a manger and The Pope lives in a "mansion" away from the world....
