Default Pls need some info on roman catholic fasting during lent ?

I'm just trying to find some info so...
I heard that during fasting at the time of lent we need to follow some rules. Like not eating meat, no bad words etc
Questions:
What are the rules ?
Is it applicable country wise ?
Bad words etc are applicable only during the fasting hours of the day or the whole 40 days ?

For the USA:

No meat on Ash Wednesday and all the Fridays of Lent.

Fasting on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. Fasting means you can have one full meal, and two smaller meals that together should not add up to a full one.

The bishops of each country can modify these regulations, so they might be a little different in other countries.

About the bad words: it depends what they are, some words are just vulgar but not sinful. We should always avoid sinful talk, which primarily is uncharitable remarks about others, calling people names, etc., as well as on the positive side, speaking respectfully the name of God.

It is determined by nation, according to cultural traditions.

In the U.S., we FAST on Ash Wednesday (today) and Good Friday. Because people have jobs, drive cars, etc., it is not a total fast. We are allowed the equivalent of two snacks and one small (humble) meal. If you don't have to work or go anywhere, you can always eat less.

We also ABSTAIN from meat every Friday during Lent. So, no beef, poultry, pork, wild game, broth or other items made with these things. Eggs and fish are okay, but the meals should be humble, not indulgent. So lobster Florentine, not so much, but a can of tuna is okay.

Throughout the whole 40 days, we also voluntarily give up bad habits (like swearing) or indulgences (like sweets or soda or beer) and try to acquire new good habits (like giving to the poor, volunteering at a soup kitchen, praying at abortion clinics, etc.)
