The Bible wouldn't be formed of the same comp elation. It would most likely be the Ethiopean Orthodox Bible, or other Coptic/gnostic versions.
good point. while many have little or no respect for the roman catholic church they are all indebted to it. whether you agree with what the church teaches at least acknowledge that the church preserved the bible for future generations.
Yes everyone would be gnostic. It's okay though, as per God's plan, it's going that way, Christianity as known now won't be around in the next several hundred years. By then, everyone will know God is WITHIN YOU, as we are evolving spiritually and more and more are awakening every day!

Rome was opposed to the early church, they had quite different beliefs than what Christ had.
I truly doubt that the Ethiopian Orthodox bible would be the most used.

That's an interesting question. I'm sure it would be very different. I don't know anything about Ethiopean Orthodox Christianity, but Christianity itself would most likely be VERY different. I don't know how it would be.

Great question! The old Roman Catholic church was formed under Constantine in the 4Th century. Prior to that, Jesus' disciples and the early church fathers believed that salvation was by grace alone, that their was only heaven and hell, and that Christ was the only intercessor man/woman needed to know God personally. The Catholic church brought us Mary as an intercessor (a human), get out of hell free cards through purgatory as well as giving priests the ability to forgive sins and whole slew of other doctrine that is actually not found in the Bible. The Catholic church also played a majority role in the crusades.
So, if the old Catholic Church had failed we'd hopefully have Christianity more like the way it started, but God is good and He is in control whether I like the way that history has gone or not.
Regardless, all of us have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Jesus said that if we've been angry with someone it's the same as murdering them or if we've ever lusted after someone that was not ours it's the same as adultery. We all must face God on judgment day, if you haven't already recognize that God has appointed this day and if you cry out to God and confess your sins believing that Jesus is real He will save you. You'll love the things you once hated, and hate the things you once loved.
