Default some Roman Catholic person said on here that good christian women dont use birth cont

and only his one true holy Roman Catholic Church's women are the only ones who adhere to this, are you serious?what do they stop making love to there mates after 2 to 4 kids?wouldn't they be pregnant every other year and pop out puppies till menopause,so are they lying,or are you being ignorant, whats more responsible and wise in Gods eyes and well see if you have ears to hear and eyes to see, a good Christian women who takes birth control and lives within her means with her husband and however many children they feel comfortable to support without government assistance,or a Catholic women who doesn't take any and has to many kids shes not able to support by herself and making it a hardship on her kids and family and being a burden on society which is against Gods statutes. If this was 1000 years ago and you owned your own lot and tilled your own field I would say no birth control because it was easier to feed back then, but have you been paying attention,Americas in a recession, how can you not have a job and keep having kids irresponsibly, now how you gonna act?

In this day and age, not using SOME form of birth control is just irresponsible...personally and socially. We have too many people in the world already, not everybody should have enough kids to be on a TLC reality show.

I find it funny how human beings decide what is "good" or "sinful" in the eyes of God. God's perfect; we're not. So why would we know what's right?

I think this post just shows your own ignorance.
It is the Roman Catholic belief that women should not use birth control. But it is also the belief that God will bless them with however many kids they can handle and he feels they need. The all-around Christian belief is also that you should only live on necessities, so if these women don't have lots of nice clothes, shoes, make-up, cars, furniture, etc., they won't necessarily need government support.
Christians (not just Catholics) are also supposed to go through periods of restraint from sex in order to devote their lives more solely to God.
And, it is much easier to feed your children now than it was 1000 years ago.

You would learn most of these things yourself if you read a Bible

Is the Roman Catholic Church wrong in their views? answer Yes..
Mainly because from a Religious male point of view that having sex while making Love is for producing offspring only.
Responsible Christian people use a Contraceptive Method that is relevant to their requirement.
As for me I am a man and have opted to use a permanent method of preventing Pregnancy and still have sexual enjoyment with my wife but have in-laws that are Roman Catholic who don't use Contraception and have 8- 10 Children that they can't support, living in a third world country
( The Philippines). ( which hasn't got Government Support ( Child endowment))
What it boils down to is, you have to make the right decision.. Please Pray anyway..

Some are very serious, and seriously to be commended. The best birth control is either a "not tonight" or simply "no".

Your stereotypical description is very dated, and not very accurate then. (Consider too how Muslims are 'popping out kids' more than most Catholics imagined, and they want to crowd out we "infidels", check the population numbers, you are barking up the wrong tree on that one)

It is an ant equated notion dreamed up by a celibate old man who lives in a golden palace. I suppose he would prefer to have his congregants living in poverty and destitution. What does it matter to him? He's got it made!

I am a Christian, and I have always used birth control of some form. I admit that since my divorce, I have learned some info about the pill that would make me not choose it in the future (it can be an arbitrament by preventing implantation of a fertilized egg). But I plan to get my tubes tied in the near future.

I believe that God gave us a brain, and He expects us to use it. Having tons of kids who live in squalor is not what He had in mind for His children.

The Catholic church officially prohibits the use of birth control, but I expect there are many Catholic women who use it all the same. People have used various methods to limit the size of their families throughout time.

And 1000 years ago it wasn't necessarily that easy to feed your family, the amount of land you owned was limited and you might want to limit the number of children you had to support.

Roman Catholics, like any other religious people, are not monolithic in how they believe and act. Yes the church preaches that the only acceptable contraception is the rhythm method, but many Catholics disagree and choose to use many different types of contraception.

And I would think that other Christian churches may have different teachings about contraception.

I think that person may not be very informed and a bit closed minded.

As for having as many kids as you can support? Well we did that calculations shortly after we were married and figured out we could not afford any. So we had as many as we wanted (which turned out to be 3) and somehow managed to pay for things.
