Default Roman Catholics - Did you went to church today this morning?

If you been to church can you please tell me what was the first and second reading about ( chapters). I am reading the bible in a church today and I don't kn ow what are the chapters. If you could help me I could read it at home and practice.

All the help are appreciated.

Not yet--it's only 8:15 here. I'll be going to the 9:00. I don't have time right now (Got to get to CCD) but you can search it on line and find not only what the readings/Gospel is for today but explanations for it to help you understand it better.

You're not a Roman Catholic!

Catholics hardly ever read the Bible. They certainly do not read from an actual Bible in the mass. All the readings, instructions about when to sit, stand kneel etc are in the Missal.

They were all about temptation. Started with Adam and Eve eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Ended with Jesus telling the devil his attempts at tempting Him were just not going to work. Great readings for the First Sunday of Lent.
