Fasting Roman Catholic 13 yr old?

So I haven't eaten all day. I'm not doing that wimpy to light meals stuff. If I do something I do it hardcore. (LOL NO I am joking). But yeah I have been fasting all day I;m fine really cause yesterday I had 3 boxes of girl scout cookies and some Mardi Grass cake. So what are the rules Can I eat once it is dark out? Or when?
I get sarcasm BTW.
No my Orients aren't making me do this they don't even go to Mass.

I said I was joking I have a friend who says hardcore. And yes the rules of Catholic fasting are one medium meals and 2 light meals.

If you are not joking as you say, you are yet another victim of child abuse.

Spiritually..what can you gain from fasting?

If you can't handle fasting from food you can always fast from other things.

Like no T.V.
Turn your phone off
Give up extra hours of sleep

.... The idea is to let something go and use that time to be with god. It doesn't have to be food.

But telling the world on the Internet that your SOooh Lil you have received your glory already - Try being more humble about it - that's the real sacrifice

I'd say give up food the entire day... BUT drink a Gatorade to keep your electrolytes up. Monks used to drink hot chocolate during fasts, believe it or not.

I normally eat again once it gets dark. But it's up to you.

I don't know why you thinking you're being 'hardcore'. Fasting means going without food all day. I don't know anyone who has light meals when they're fasting. That's not fasting.

Oh and you're supposed to be quiet and humble during fasting. You're not supposed to go shouting about it and looking for glory on the Internet.
