This is a religion question. Basically, compare 8 different things about three Christian denominations to Roman Catholicism by pointing out their different rituals and beliefs.

Also, most denominations have no Catechism or any set group of beliefs, so it is almost impossible to even define them.

Why would anyone want a connection to Roman Catholicism?
I would rather have a connection with live grenade.

Roman Catholicism:
(1) Respect for Mary and prayer as an intercessor
(2) Have seen visions of Mary
(3) Veneration of Saints as intercessors
(4) Has clergy (priests, nuns, Pope, bishops)
(5) Has a quiet, respectful mass
(6) Generally nice people for the most part
(7) Doesn't limit themselves (many practitioners)
(8) Has long standing traditions and rituals

Evangelical, Born-Again, Baptist
(1) Anti-Mary
(2) Screams on the floor, acts out wildly in their sermons
(3) Sells their religion and pushes it down others throats
(4) Acts as if their interpretation and way is the only way there is
(5) Limits themselves to what their pastors (Jerry Falwell) says
(6) Can be really snobby and/or kinda creepy
(7) Very cult like, considerably a cult itself
(8) Sees Mary, Saints, anything other than what they do as "idol worship"
