Probably in a century or two. I think that's what the Mormons are all about. They want to keep the basic tenants of Christianity, but wanted the Messiah to be of their own nationality.

Not likely, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of tension. The Catholic Church is fairly stable these days, and those who don't like its traditions and dogmas have plenty of other options available to them.

Most people in Rome see us Americans as Demons and they think the Anti Christ is coming from over here. I personally don't blame them. So to answer your question, yes.

Who knows! Americans do have a thing about splitting away from European institutions. I doubt it.
