you and pray for you? Does Santeria work. Here is my situation, I don't know whether this man practices Santeria or not, but please give me your opinions. I am going through a divorce and the day before my anniversary I was feeling really depressed, I cried and prayed for quite some time and then went to bed, well later on that night I got up and heard everything is going to be OK" well the next day this man who is praying for me told my mom that he prayed about my situation and that everything was going to be fine. He has been praying for me since then and giving me prayers to pray on my own but the prayers aren't towards any saints, they are towards Jesus Christ and God, the Holy Spirit, and oh yeah the Virgin Mary. Another time I was lying on my bed and heard someone say give him time. And two days later he told my mom to tell me that I need to give God time in his plan for me. What should I believe is this Santeria or is this someone trying to help me? he doesn't charge me.
How about for my situation, I am going through a divorce, and have done everything possible to save my marriage. He has told me that i have a lot of bad energy basically in my house and that I need to liven it up, he says that my husband is confused at the moment and that he will realize the mistakes he has made and that he will return because he has a responsibility to myself and the children.

I believe he's trying to help you in his own way. I don't necessarily agree with it because I don't know enough about it. But, he isn't charging you so what do you have to lose? Also, it matters more whether YOU believe it not what others believe.
Santeros don't do evil, it's not really in the religion--we pray to tribal, ancestral spirits, invite them into us to impart wisdom--Santero can be used for healing and help in bad situations, but we don't have the dark side like cordons do with Danette
