Santeria, Anyone practice it or had any experience with it???

I've seen Lot's of Botanicas around. And I wonder if there's anyone who's had any experiences with it?

The experience is brought forth by my super-catholic mother who's mother's mother was a Candra (or healer).

I have always been in a home full of candles, Santos, and Orishas. To me, it was just a part of life and was never something that made me uncomfortable.

The home remedies for sickness that Santeria boasts worked in many instances for my asthma as a child. Now as an adult, I still feel the need to hear the bongo drums...to light a candle for a oration...it is in my blood.

Yes, My friend knows a lot about it. She knows a lot of people who are Santeria. You represent an Ericha. For example I represent Chango. I dint practice it. But even if you dint believe in them, they protect you. My friend told me that I represent him, because my personality. I love lighting and thunders and specially fire, which are his symbols. He knows what will happen in the future, and Im kind of psychic, so yeah... Im from Cuba, and a lot of Cubans practice it. My friend knows how to read cards and she can predict stuff.
